We’re proud to share that Grote Company was honored with the Milestone Achievement award forreaching its 50th anniversary in business. The honor was bestowed by the Conway Center for Family Business at its 24thAnnual Family Business Awards program on November 16.
Established in 1998, the program recognizes excellence in family business in categories such as Milestone Achievement, Family Business of the Year, Succession Planning, and Rising Star.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to receive this award from the Conway Center for Family Business, marking our major milestone of 50 years in business,” said COO & President Jack Grote. “Family is important to us at Grote Company. We’re proud to have three generations now working here. More than 30% of all family-owned businesses make the transition into the second generation. About12% will still be viable into the third generation, with only 3% of all family businesses operating at thefourth-generation level and beyond.
